VSBA serves its members as an information resource on educational issues, as a source of education and training for board members as well as customized school board services and products, and through advocacy with the Department of Education, the General Assembly and with our Congressional delegation in Washington, DC. The VSBA is dedicated to supporting and advocating for the development and delivery of high quality education for all Vermont students. The mission is accomplished by promoting excellent school leadership through service to school officials who provide direction and oversight to our public schools. The Association is governed by an elected board of directors. As an affiliate of the National School Boards Association, the Association contributes to the improvement and support of high quality education nationwide.
