Membership in the Association provides Vermont credit unions economies of scale and added resources to serve over 270,000 Vermont consumers a broad range of modern financial services. The Association represents credit unions before legislators and regulators at both the state and national levels, as well as before the general public. In addition, it provides operational support programs, educational resources, promotional support and a variety of correspondent financial services. The Credit Union System, represented locally by the Association, is one of the largest and strongest cooperative support networks in the nation, exhibiting the credit union philosophy of working together to meet members' needs.   ASAE Member
